A calmer pregnancy.
A birth you feel prepared for.

Practical tools and gentle guidance for the months ahead — for mums who want to feel ready, not overwhelmed.

You wanted to be excited. And some days you are. But underneath, there's a quieter thing — the sense that you don't really know what's coming, and the stories people tell you about birth are mostly ones you'd rather not be in.Optimal Rhythm exists for that quieter feeling. The work here is simple: take the parts of pregnancy and birth that feel out of your control, and turn them into things you've thought about, planned for, and made your own. Not by powering through — by settling in.Birth has a rhythm. So does pregnancy, and the months that come after. You can prepare for each of them.

Start with your birth plan.

A free, printable template that walks you through the choices worth making before labour — written in plain language, designed to actually be used.

  • The decisions worth thinking through now (and the ones that can wait)

  • A one-page summary your birth partner and midwife can read at a glance

  • Space for your preferences without locking you in

You'll also receive emails just to guide you in your preparation journey.

I'm Tríona.

I'm a mum of two in Dublin, pregnant with my third — and preparing for my first planned home birth. Optimal Rhythm grew out of the work I've done across all three pregnancies: the templates, the plans, and the mindset that turned birth from something happening to me into something I felt ready for.Hypnobirthing isn't a technique I'm trying out. It's how I gave birth twice — both experiences I'm grateful for and happy to share — and it's how I'll meet this one. The resources here are the ones I actually use, refined over three pregnancies and shared with women who want what I wanted: to feel prepared, calm, and at home in their own birth.Birth comes first. Postpartum — the part I'm honestly more nervous about this time, with three small humans to settle into a rhythm with — is next. I'll be here for that too.

What's coming

The birth plan is the start. In the months ahead, I'll be sharing templates and guides for the rest of the journey — preparing for labour, the first six weeks at home, settling into early motherhood.
